Waro is an enigmatic artist, fascinated by the distant future of the Earth, and by the creatures that will populate it: the Yu. For years, he has immersed himself in a visionary world, exploring what he imagines humanity will be like after millions of years of evolution. The Yu, according to Waro, are creatures with cryptic and abstract forms, capable of living in a changed world, where the laws of physics and biology have taken unexpected turns. His artistic path, full of symbolism and references to lost traditions, is often accompanied by books that are still indecipherable today that he writes himself. These texts, encrypted and labyrinthine, seem to be keys to understanding the enigmatic world of the Yu; although few will be able to decipher them. Waro, with his post-human aesthetic, does not limit himself to representing the future: he investigates it, describes it and lives it as a reality already present. In his works, every sign is a message, every image a fragment of a forgotten language, a dialogue between past and future, between humans and Yu.
